We'll be concertizing as part of

Parallel Play SF

where the fine arts of paint and

music collaborate during a

seriously fun evening in painter

Peggy Gyulai's studio.

This event will feature the

alt.musica saxophones edition:

Elaine Alt - Soprano, Alto, Tenor & Baritone Saxophones, Clarinet, and Voice

Greg German - Drums

Anthony Blea - Violin
Charith Premawardhana - Violin

Wendy Clymer - Viola

Doug Machiz - 'Cello

Carl Herder - Bass

We’ll present ten songs composed by

Elaine Alt as well as Oscar Moore,

Johannes Brahms, Malcolm X,

Aeion Solar, Miles Davis, Charles

Mingus and Dave Brubeck.

The music style incorporates contrasts

and mashups of Swing, Latin Jazz,

Funk, Afro-Cuban and Classical,

and improvisation.
