Honk Fest West!

June 1-3, 2018

Seattle, WA

This will be my first outing at the 11th

year of this grassroots, non-profit music

festival, celebrating a renaissance of

community street band culture.

I'll be playing cornet with the
Brass Liberation Orchestra.

Most of the 28 bands are from Seattle,
but there will bands visiting from Detroit,
SF, Moscow, NYC, Lowell and Chicago.

The performances take place in a different
neighborhood each day, with four stages
within walking distance from each other.

(BLO times are in parenthesis)

June 1: Georgetown 5-10pm (7pm)
June 2: White Center 1-6pm (1pm, 3pm & 5pm)
June 3: Columbia City 2-6pm (4pm)

A Roof Over My Head

The musical A Roof Over My Head is a
satirical look at the Bay Area housing crisis
by Tommi Avicolli Mecca and Alison C. Wright,
and directed by Alison C. Wright.

The show focuses on neighbors who receive

an Ellis Act Notice from their 'flip happy'
landowner, as a way of speaking out against
the elimination of affordable housing.

This production is part of the 2018
National Queer Arts Festival.

I will be playing piano, along with Carl Herder
on bass and Tommi on guitar.
