alt.musica at Nick's Kitchen
Hello, .

We had a great time in March
playing at Nick's Kitchen with the
Jazz Combustion Clarinet Trio.

Since the venue is large enough
and has a PA, we decided to bring the
full alt.musica band there for our
Saturday, April 8 date.

Since our last outing, alt.musica has
recorded some of our rep as
the Chamber Music America
New Jazz Works Grant, so keep
your fingers crossed!

This is the first outing of alt.musica
since our @45 celebration
a year ago, so we are excited to
get back in the swing of things.  

I'll admit, I was not fully prepared
for how good the food is
at Nick's Kitchen!

The lumpia and adobado were,
of course, delicious.  But I wasn't
expecting the great vegetarian dishes.  

Since both the owners are
vegetarian, perhaps I should
not have been surprised!
alt.musica's touch of whimsy will 
include a composition of Glenda's,
Spacewalk Blues (in rehearsal,
we thought it had a rather Sun Ra vibe.)
